Kooth
Health and wellbeing, Information, advice and guidance, Social, emotional and mental health difficultiesDescription
Kooth is a free, interactive website for children and young people, accessible on all devices.
It is a safe, confidential online mental health service where young people and adults can receive counselling, advice and support for their emotional well-being.
Kooth delivers thousands of counselling sessions each year in local authorities across the UK to young people.
As it can be difficult to find the right support for young people with lower level mental health needs, Kooth also gives doctors a way of making sure patients can access free support when they need it, in a way young people know and use.
The therapy team are qualified counsellors and psychotherapists. They work closely together to ensure the best outcomes for young people. The counsellors know about other services, so the young people they work with can be signposted to the best information and support.
