Graceful Badger Forest School
Cognition and learning, Communication and interaction, Education and learning, Sensory and/or physical needsDescription
Woodland based activities for families with children from 0 to 16 years.
Fun and play, nature discovery, arts and crafts with natural materials, bush craft, and campfire cooking.
Family Days give parents opportunities to meet and talk to others with similar experiences. A day in the woods is valuable time to relax in among the trees while their children have fun. A convivial campfire meal encourages socialisation.
Our Family Days particularly suit children with anxiety and ASD. The small woodland is quiet and securely fenced and children can explore and play. No pressure is placed on the children.
Type of provision
Universal - This is for everyone, including people with special educational needs and disabilities
