Inspired is a consortium of four award-winning arts producers and promoters in Somerset. They work in partnership with Somerset Council.

They provide an arts education network to schools giving access to:

• Skills development in dance, drama, creative IT and visual arts
• CPD and training
• Advice and support
• Resources such as case studies, education guides and enrichment activity ideas
• Networking events

And give children and young people access to:

• High profile artist-led residencies and community projects
• Quality assured arts experiences
• Celebratory event and platforms

The visual and performing arts contributes to:

• Raising achievement
• Building emotional health and well-being
• Developing life skills
• Supporting transition and progression
• Inspiring creative writing
• Improving attendance
• Engaging parents
• Ensuring all children reach their potential
