ADHD Somerset
Information, advice and guidance, Leisure, Support groupDescription
The group is run by parents who have children with ADHD or have ADHD themselves so they have an understanding of the condition, issues parents may face and services that can help. The group has meetings twice a month and often try and bring in speakers and training on a variety of topics. The group also run activity days for children so they can be free to be themselves and find friends with similar interests and needs.
The group is unable to advocate for individuals or families with their specific issues, although they will always do their best to put you in contact with someone who can help.
ADHD Yeovil was established in 2011 to support families with children who have or are seeking a diagnosis of ADHD or families who feel their child may be likely to have ADHD or similar/associated conditions. We expanded in April 2022 to ADHD Somerset due to a growing need for support.
