New traffic lights in Somerset
New traffic lights are installed because of planning agreements with developers delivering Local Transport Plan objectives, or because of a specific need we have identified. Our specialist teams check proposals for new installations or significant alterations to existing installations. We carry out detailed checks of plans, specifications and controller configurations before the installation is switched on.
We have strict guidelines for the design and installation of traffic signals.
