Following receipt of the Examiners Report the suggested modifications have been agreed. A referendum relating to the adoption of the the Puriton Neighbourhood Plan was therefore held on 4 July 2024.

The results of the referendum were:

• Total number of votes cast: 1079
• Number cast in favour of “yes”: 874
• Number cast in favour of “no”: 171
• The turnout was 59.2%
