Somerset’s SEND services must publish clear, comprehensive and accessible information about support available to children and young people with SEND. This is known as our Local Offer.

We are creating a review group of parent carers to be directly involved in the planning and review of the Local Offer, to make sure it works for you. The group will run through a closed Facebook page so that anyone wanting to be involved can be at a time that is best for them.

The review group will share opinions about existing content and suggestions for future content, and test out the ease of use and website design. It might also involve looking at Local Offers from other areas and identifying points we can learn from.
