The results of two Town Council by elections in Somerset held on Monday, 18 December are as follows:

Bridgwater Town Council – Bridgwater Fairfax East Ward:

• Diogo Rodrigues (Con) 167 (Elected);
• Megan Boucher (Lab) 142;
• Antony Nickolls (Lib Dem) 74;
• Pete Barnes 47.

Turnout: 12.41%

Burnham and Highbridge – Highbridge Parish Ward:

• Alistair Hendry (Con) 179 (elected);
• Laura Chalmers (Lib Dem) 177;
• Kate Pearce (Lab) 149.

Turnout: 10.71%
