We have heard from stakeholders that they wish to see an open and transparent process to discuss changes in local authority Education functions, particularly in relation to SEND and inclusion. To enable that to happen, and to maximise the potential for all school leaders to be part of that discussion, we have been attending face to face Headteacher Briefings around the county, with the final sessions taking place this week. Huge thanks to everyone who attended and shared their valuable reflections and views. The positivity and openness displayed in all discussions has been inspiring.

We are continuing to work with council-based staff and are starting to liaise with colleagues in other sectors such as health.

We are in the process of planning parental engagement sessions to reach a wide range of different voices. We anticipate these dates will be held in June and will share dates, time and locations in the next edition of this newsletter.
