Taunton’s main library in Paul Street will be closed for 2 days next month while Somerset Council carries out important upgrades.
The library, and The Glass Box innovation space, will close their doors on Wednesday and Thursday 9 and 10 April for a major IT network and Wi-Fi hardware and systems improvements.
This will strengthen security and improve Wi-Fi and network capabilities for customers in the future.
The library will reopen at 9.30am on Friday 11 April.
In the meantime, some library services can be accessed online via the Council’s Find, reserve or renew a library item page.
