The SCERTs model
New dates listed for an exciting opportunity for parent carers, school staff and professionals across education, care and health to attend a 3-hour webinar working collaboratively to support neurodivergent children and young people focussing on how the SCERTS framework can be useful for a common language, particularly around provision of support.

If things are not working with SEND
An improved set of pages walking through the steps to take if things are not working. This starts with talking to the service, most concerns can be resolved early. Moves onto making your complaint, helping you understand the different processes for different services. Followed by disagreement resolution and what to do if you’re still not happy.

Collaborative Outcomes Meeting Guide
Updated to reflect changes in the timing of the decision of whether to issue an Education Health and Care Plan. This decision will now take place AFTER the Collaborative Outcomes Meeting is held so that the support and provision required to meet the needs of the child or young person can be fully considered in decision making.

Funding and provision for children with additional needs
As mentioned in other articles, the consultation on proposals for changes to funding and support for children whose needs are not being met and children who are at risk of exclusion is open until 21 October.
