We’ve listed some of the most popular services and support that could help families you work with over the holiday season. #Help4All is part of the Connect Somerset programme, which aims to make it easier for Somerset families and residents to get the help they need and to get it early.
- #LearnForLove – free online learning for parents, grandparents and carers (access code: dragon) to support children from bump to teenager.
- Young Somerset – parent workshops and wider parent led work with mental health and early years.
Wise up sessions – parent carer workshop supporting families with children that have additional needs and/or disabilities.
- Managing relationship conflict – advice and resources all in one place.
- Reducing conflict and successfully coparenting after separation – advice and resources including new free AI tool to support communication between coparents.
- Somerset Health Visiting Service – working with families to identify areas impacting overall health and wellbeing and developing plans to support families. Visit the Somerset Health Visitors Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/scchealthvisitors/ for regular updates.
- Chat Health – A text service for parents and carers to confidentially ask for help about a range of issues from a qualified Health visitor. Text: 07480635514.
