Somerset Council’s Lead Member for Children, Families and Education has applauded the hard work of Somerset’s students as they collect their A-level results today (15 August) and GCSE results next week (22 August).
Councillor Heather Shearer said:
“Well done to all the young people across Somerset who are collecting exam results today and next week. Whatever the outcome of your results, there are many different exciting options to take after school and college. We here at Somerset Council are proud of each and every one of you, and wish you all the best with your next steps.”
If students did not get the results they were expecting, they can explore their options at The Education Hub (blog.gov.uk). Support is available on the National Careers Service website, and helpline advisors are available on 0800 100 900 if students need help or advice around exam results or next steps.
