Somerset Youth Theatre is a safe space for those aged 6-18yrs to create, explore and find their voice through theatre and the arts. We work hard to reach people who would not normally take part in performing arts and believe all young people are artists.

Our programme is attended by individuals with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and special emotional mental health needs (SEMH), as well as potentially vulnerable young people living in temporary accommodation.

Young people are empowered, trusted and supported to become young leaders. Many arrive low in confidence but, by the end of the week, have made friends, slept better and eaten well each day.
