About the Yeovil area

Yeovil LCN is situated on the South East edge of the County and Borders with Dorset. It sits next to three LCNs and is made up of one Town and 20 Parishes.

The area is best known for having the Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, which is a Military airbase of the Royal Navy. The LCN also has Ham Hill Country Park a stunning countryside park with an iron age hillfort, offering scenic walks, wildlife, and historic features. Alongside Montacute House (National Trust) which is a masterpiece of Elizabethan Renaissance architecture and design, with towering walls of glass, glowing ham stone and surrounding garden.

Two Train stations sit within the LCN – Yeovil Junction and Yeovil Pen Mill, linking People to destinations such as London, Exeter, Salisbury and Weymouth.
