How to book library facilities

You can book meetings rooms, exhibition space and courses held in libraries

Get started

All our libraries are available to hire by groups, organisations and businesses outside normal opening hours. Most of our libraries provide space for displays and exhibitions throughout the year.

Frome Library has a small meeting room for hire, and Taunton Library has a 65-seater meeting room with conference facilities.

The Glass Box at Taunton Library can hold 50 people and is also available to hire.

How to make a booking

To make a booking, contact the library you would like to use to check availability and to discuss your needs. You can find the full list in the Our Libraries section.

Fees include VAT.

The Taunton Library Meeting Room also includes kitchen facilities, though you will need to supply your own tea, coffee and refreshments.

An invoice is issued after the event. If a booking is cancelled less than four weeks before the date booked, we charge a cancellation fee of 25% of the relevant charge.
