- We offer flexible working, the role is based at County Hall, Taunton, but with a significant proportion of time working from home. Attendance is required for business meetings and travel to School settings may be required.
- 25 days’ annual leave (plus bank holidays)

About the job
We’re working to improve the lives of children, and all those who support them in schools, in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:
• Working on the front line of the MIS Helpdesk to resolve school information system issues.
• Supporting school staff to find solutions and improve practice with their use of the school management information system.
• Plenty of internal CPD to increase awareness of MIS developments.
About you
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:
• Are a fantastic communicator, this includes verbal and written communication.
• Have sound working knowledge of IT Systems, including Microsoft Office Packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Have excellent customer service skills.
• Have experience working to tight timescales.
• Can use your initiative to solve problems.
