What will I be doing?

We’re working to improve the lives of people here in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:

  • Maintaining various Area Highways email inboxes
  • Processing various Licensing Applications
  • Point of contact for internal and external member of the team and/or contractors

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:

  • Have knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Sharepoint and Excel
  • Have great organisation skills
  • Have the ability to work independently and using own initiative
  • Work well as part of a team
