- This role is office based Somerset Council’s dynamic Working Strategy will be applied to this position.
- 25 days leave pro rata
- Responsibility for ensuring our product (project boxes) are ready to be delivered in a timely manner.
- Permanent contract
What will I be doing?
We’re working to improve the lives of people in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Liaise with customer schools regarding orders
- Select relevant materials against customer requirements
- General library duties including issue, discharge and shelving
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:
- Educated to GCSE or NVQ level 2 , including English and Maths (grade C or above) or equivalent
- Experience of working in a library or familiarity of the library system
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum
- Sound working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and databases
