• This job will be working remotely, however there may be a requirement to visit offices for meetings, etc. There is flexibility around when the work is completed.
• Full-time post – 37 hours perweek

• As this is a temporary, externally funded role any progression would be subject to the receipt of further funding and also subject to the restructure.
• This is a fixed term contract to 31^st March 2025.
• Salary: £26,421 to £29,777 per annum

The postholder will be responsible for:

• providing a support function in relation to delivery, monitoring and evaluation of projects.
• Developing and maintaining specialist understanding of eligibility, compliance, management and reporting requirements and their application to the relevant project.
• Supporting the Project Coordinator in ensuring that all project activity, expenditure and outputs are delivered in strict compliance with all relevant Somerset County Council and external policies, regulations and requirements.
• Supporting the production and submission of project claims, output returns and progress reports to the relevant Managing Authority including addressing supporting evidence and/or clarification requests.

We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:

• Have knowledge and experience of administering externally funded projects and contracts or demonstrable project and budget management experience.
• Have experience of collecting and reporting robust data as well as presenting this in report form to support project monitoring and decision making.
• Can demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as organisational strengths and competent use of IT.

It would be beneficial to have knowledge and experience of government funded programmes.
