What will I be doing?

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual to join the Contracts Team within Adult Social Care as a Contract and Quality Assurance Officer. The service plays a vital role in providing a contract management function for all the contracts held with the Care Providers we work with.

The role will be primarily focused on contracts that are held with care Providers that are registered on our specialist Dynamic Purchasing System and Extra Care Housing, but may include other contracts and involvement with ongoing and future commissioning and recommissioning processes.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

The ideal candidate will be familiar with Adult Social Care activity and competent in operating and inputting into IT systems.

We are looking for a candidate who has experience of working in a managerial role, the technical aspects of contracting, supplier monitoring and performance management, as well as working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as part of monitoring and improvement processes.

You will need to be a well organised, efficient ‘people-person’ who enjoys coordinating and engaging with a wide range of individuals across contracted organisations and partner agencies. 

A natural ‘problem-solver’, you will work as part of a busy team to support mitigating risk and supporting our providers with compliance against the contract while maintaining quality.

This is a Grade 9 post with a current salary of £39,186 to £43,421 per annum. Appointments are normally made at the bottom of the salary scale.

This post is initially being advertised on a permanent full-time basis.

Investment

We have recently invested £1.4m into our workforce. As a result, we have substantially increased the number of social work, occupational therapy, advanced practitioner and other leadership posts.
