Introduction

Food banks provide emergency food and support to members of the public who are not able to afford food shopping. Food is donated by individuals, organisations, religious groups and businesses. If you or someone you know is struggling to buy food, there are many food banks in Somerset you can visit to collect free food. The Trussell Trust offers support and advice to those who are in need of food – you can visit Find a food bank to locate your nearest one.
