The personal data you provide is used to enable the council to process your housing application, including maintaining the housing register and the allocation of social housing through the Homefinder Somerset Choice Based Lettings Scheme.

Who the data might be shared with
Information is shared with a number of social landlord and support organisations, all of which have signed up to the Homefinder Somerset information sharing protocol.
Data may be shared with:
- Social Services
- Social Landlords/Housing Associations/ALMOs
- Ministry of Justice (MOJ)
- YMCA
- Citizens Advice Bureau
- P2i
Data is also shared for the prevention and detection of crime, including fraud via the National Fraud Initiative.
