Purpose of the processing

The personal data you provide is used to either enable the council to process your application to the Self and Custom Build Register or to inform the production of a Housing Needs Survey Report. Contact details are held to maintain the Register and to update participants of self or custom build opportunities, or other affordable housing opportunities.

Who the data might be shared with

  • Other council departments
  • Summary level information only is shared with partnership organisations, such as Development Partners and Parish Councils

How long will the data be kept for

Up to 6 months for response forms to a Housing Needs Survey. 6 years retention for paperwork and permanent retention for creation of the Self and Custom Build Register in line with legislation.
