Higher Court Farm, Treborough
Description
Higher Court Farm is a 500 acre farm in the rolling landscape of Exmoor National Park, in the Dark Skys reserve, between 750ft rising up to 1,350ft, with a trig point.
It comprises of a mixture of pasture and woodland. The 165 acres of woodland ranges from ancient woodland with deciduous trees to spruce forests.
There are several valleys on the farm, some exceptionally steep and untouched with streams and an old meadow with a stream running through with old irrigation leats on both sides.
The top of the farm looks over to South Wales in the North and on a fine day the Breacon Beacons can be seen, Dunkery Beacon to the North West and the Quantock Hills to the
North East. The main farm has a traditional farmhouse and 5 rental properties, along with several traditional outbuildings, a workshop, a horse barn and horse arena.
The farm is a haven for wildlife with Red, Roe and Fallow Deer, Sky Larks, Red Kites, Curlews, Perigrin Falcons, Sparrow Hawks, Buzzards, Hares, Screech, Tawney and Barn Owls.
