Description

Georgian Town Hall building in the centre of Glastonbury, dating from 1814 and a Grade II* listed building. The building has 2 floors, the upper floor being accessible by lift.

The ground floor comprises of a main hall, built in 1930, with a proscenium stage and an adjacent kitchen or bar area. The first floor houses the Council Chamber with an adjoining Mayor’s Parlour with connecting door.

The front of the building, designed in neo-classical style, has a terrace area which overlooks Magdalene Street.
