Description

A 12-acre site owned by a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, comprising of the ruins of a Motte and Bailey castle and open landscape that’s a blank canvas adaptable for all kinds of filming. Potentially lends itself to historic of fantasy productions. There are no paths, but the ground is firm underfoot during the spring, summer and autumn. Water, toilets and storage are available on site which is surrounded by a river and water filled ditches. Use of the castle may be subject to some Scheduled Monument restrictions.
