Brean Beach
Description
A seven-mile stretch of sandy beach, with grass and dunes in places. Somerset Council manages the stretch south of the wooden beach groynes near to Brean Down (Brean Down and the area of beach immediately to the south of it are managed by the National Trust).
Brean Beach operates a Beach Safety Warden Service which gives you easy access to a 7 mile stretch of beach for lovely walks, or walk down to the bottom of Brean Down to the café or for a walk up to the fort or to see the Bristol Channel.

Access restrictions | The beach is accessed via a gated entrance. This is open Summer Season Easter to September 10am – 6pm and throughout October 10am – 5pm. Throughout the winter months November – Easter, open at weekends 10am – 3pm and Bank holiday (shut Christmas Day). Access during or outside of those hours subject to discussion and approval. |

Parking | There is hard standing parking for around 60 cars in the National Trust car park at the base of Brean Down. Brean Beach car park is parking on the sand and can accept about 500 cars. |
