The sessions are inclusive and a safe space for everyone. Whether you have a physical impairment, learning disability, are neurodivergent or are just looking for a welcoming and adaptive community to climb with, we want to develop this community and to introduce you to the world of Paraclimbing.
We will do what we can to make the social accessible to everybody, for example we can ask to turn the music down if somebody has a sensory difference. All ages are welcome, but children under 16 years will need to be supervised.
The sessions will help develop social as well as independent climbing. Ensure you are registered and signed in at the wall, then ask for James Rudge at Reception.
GB Paraclimber and qualified instructor James Rudge will be on hand to offer any support or experience he can.
The building has disabled parking spaces and ramped access to the gym.
We have agreed a discounted price with the climbing wall to help break any financial barriers to Paraclimbers alike.
Accessibility has been considered, and arrangements can be made such as turning music down for someone with a sensory difference.
There is no need to book in advance, but please do reach out to
@rudge_paraclimbing before so that he can help with any preparation that may be required
