Food alerts

We regularly receive food alerts from the Food Standards Agency. These alerts let us know about any problems associated with food. They are often nationwide issues and come alongside a product withdrawal or recall.

We are given specific instructions for each alert. These may include visiting local food premises to make sure that they are aware of the problem and, if necessary, the product has been withdrawn. We may also create a press release for local media.
