You can also bring in documentation to be digitally uploaded and sent to the appropriate Somerset Council team.

Connect using our Video Assistant Link (VAL)

Our Video Assistant Link (VAL) allows you to video call our customer service teams directly and is available at all CAPs . Ask VAL anything about the Council and our services. It is easy to use, simply talk to member of staff when visiting a CAP to get set up.

This short video will tell you more:

Customer Access Points will be open in line with the location’s opening hours. However, VAL will only be open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

If you need to write to us, always use our online services. The Contact us option on our website is the most effective way of transacting with the Council. Our Customer Service and Customer Access Points are for you to visit us, in person or virtually. If you write to any of these addresses, your correspondence risks being undelivered to the relevant team and may go unanswered.
