West Somerset House
The Customer Service Point (CSP) at West Somerset House closed on Tuesday 24 December and will remain closed for about 10 weeks due to building works. The Customer Service Team support is available in Williton Library during this time.
Visit in person at our Customer Service Points
You can get information, advice, and support on any Council service by visiting us in person at one of our Customer Service Points (CSP).
When you visit, a member of our Customer Service Team will greet you and help you with your enquiry. They will assist you in accessing our digital forms and allow you to provide any necessary documents.
Get digital help at our Customer Access Points
Our Customer Access Points (CAP) offer help with using our online services and joining virtual meetings. These locations include all libraries and some partner sites.
You can get support to use our online services and bring in documents to be digitally uploaded and sent to the right Somerset Council team.
Connect using our Video Assistant Link (VAL)
Our Video Assistant Link (VAL) allows you to video call our customer service teams directly and is available at all CAPs . Ask VAL anything about the Council and our services. It is easy to use, simply talk to member of staff when visiting a CAP to get set up.

Customer Access Points will be open in line with the location’s opening hours. However, VAL will only be open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
If you need to write to us, please use our online services. The Contact us option on our website is the best way to communicate with the Council. Our Customer Service and Customer Access Points are for in-person or virtual visits. If you send mail to any of these addresses, it might not reach the right team and could go unanswered.
