Supporting projects that improve the lives of people aged 0 to 25 years old living in the Somerset West and Taunton area

Introduction

The Tenants’ Action Group has allocated a proportion of their annual budget to provide grants to support organisations and projects, which seek to improve the lives, health and wellbeing of people aged 0 to 25 years old, whose families are housing tenants of the Somerset West and Taunton area. This is to help such organisations and projects to become more sustainable and more self-sufficient.

A grant application can be up to a maximum of £3,000, and there is no minimum financial limit.

Who can apply

Any not for profit organisation running a project that aims to improve the lives, health and well-being of people aged 0 to 25 years old, whose families are Somerset West and Taunton housing tenants.

Eligibility – Essential Criteria

The project must benefit people aged 0 to 25 years old whose families are Somerset West and Taunton housing tenants, and must be able to demonstrate that it will achieve at least one of the following:

  • improve the health and well-being of participants
  • improve community safety, for example incidents and perceptions of crime and anti-social behaviour are reduced
  • alleviate deprivation and inequality
