Somerset Max Card

The Max Card makes days out more affordable for foster families and families of children with additional needs. It is a discount card for attractions, venues, and days out across the UK.

The Community Inclusion and Activity Team (CIA Team) offers the Max Card to any family with a child or young person with a disability or additional need aged 0 to 25 years living in Somerset.

The cards are free to families. One card per household, and lasts for 2 years.

Some venues may also require proof of disability, like a for example through Disability Living Allowance letter or paperwork from school. Check with the venue before attending.

Applying for the Max Card

Email ciateam@somerset.gov.uk or phone 01823 358117 to apply for the Max Card.

Share the child’s name, nature of disability or additional need, and the address to send the card to.
