Local Offer Live
We often host events to help you learn about the offer of services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities in Somerset.
Our events cover a variety of topics with speakers and interactive sessions, both online and in person with a market stall of providers. We call this Local Offer Live because it gives you a chance to talk to the people that provide the services on offer locally.
Lets Talk SEND and Inclusion
Over the next 12 months we are running 3 events to bring together parent carers and practitioners in Somerset to talk about SEND and Inclusion.
- 11 June 2024, Cheddar Community Pavilion,
- 11 June 2024, online sessions
- 8 October 2024, 10am-2pm Taunton St Andrews Church
- 8 October 2024, 7-9pm online sessions
- 18 March 2025, Wincanton Memorial Hall
The events will include:
- A range of discussion tables cover hot SEND topics
- Local Offer live – information stalls from a range of providers
October’s event will also include discussions on funding and provision for additional needs consultation.
