Schools should use this form to notify us of suspensions and exclusions.

The form is 2 pages long and should take around 3 minutes to complete. You will need the following information:

  • the child’s contact details
  • details of suspension or exclusion.

Report peer-on-peer discrimination

Schools should use this form to report incidents of peer-on-peer discrimination between children aged 4 to 16 relating to any of the following categories:

  • race
  • disability
  • sex
  • sexual orientation
  • faith and belief
  • gender reassignment, and
  • gender fluidity.

Incidents should be reported following any initial response required by the school and other support services. The information provided will support Somerset Council to understand the impact of discrimination among our children and young people. It will be reviewed regularly by the Peer-on-Peer Discrimination Panel which will analyse data trends and advise on how support around discrimination can be improved.

This form has 5 pages and will take approximately 7 to 8 minutes to complete.

You will need the following information:

  • details of the incident
  • details of the perpetrators
  • details of the victims.
