Introduction
The Early Years Partnership is an advisory group which discusses strategic issues relating to the sector and is a consultative forum for financial matters relating to Early Years provision in Somerset.
The Partnership’s membership is made up of professionals working in different parts of the Early Years sector. It includes
- Officers of the Council
- Early Years Providers
- Training Providers
- Strategic Partners – including those with a contractual function in Somerset
The Partnership advises Schools Forum on issues relating to Early Years provision and Early Years finances. The Early Years representatives for Schools Forum are elected from this group.
The Early Years Partnership is not a decision-making group and does not have any formal decision-making functions. This is not a public meeting, but minutes from the meeting and any items shared during the meeting are made available for all to read.
