Description

Tiny Turrets is a purpose-built provision that provides childcare for children from 2 to 4 years of age. It is part of the Foundation Stage Unit within Castle Primary School. We welcome children from local villages as well as from a wider geographical area. We work closely with all local schools to provide a smooth transition to their reception year. For children who choose to remain at School, the transition is seamless, as the children already know the staff and the setting. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS), supporting learning through play and building confidence and independence. Activities are planned around the individual child, acknowledging their interests, how they play and supporting their progress in all developmental areas. There is plenty of role-play, arts & crafts, sand, water, storytelling, singing, books, messy play, climbing, running and much more. We enjoy the seasons in our lovely outdoor area with a strong emphasis on outdoor play.
