We are a busy independent pre-school based in the village adjacent to the school. We offer a wide variety of experiences for our children both inside and outside including accessing the lovely green outside spaces of the primary school next door. Each day children spend most of their time in mixed age groups, much like they would at home; we encourage the older children to be good examples for the younger children. There are times when the children can independently choose what they do and there are also adult led times of the day. We start each day as a group and share any relevant news with each other, later during the day it’s usual for each child to spend some time with their key person. We hold regular parent 1:1 meetings which enables us to importantly strengthen links with home.
