Acorns is part of Evercreech CoE Primary School and is situated on the same site. We aim to:; *Provide high quality care and education for children aged from 2 years to rising 5; *Work in partnership with families / carers to help children learn and develop; *Add to the life and wellbeing of the local community; *Offer children and their families/ carers a service which promotes equality, and values each and every child’s individuality; *Follow the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’ (EYFS) Framework, which covers: Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language, Physical Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design.; ; We strongly believe that learning should be child led, and that children learn best through play. We have a large and well laid out indoor space where all children have access to all our provision and an outside area with mud kitchen, den, large sandpit and many other provisions to encourage children to become independent, work together, and learn to manage risk. We also have access to the woodland garden belonging to the school which offers the children a chance to run, explore and play together.; ; Our environment is safe, secure and stimulating, where your child will have the opportunity to play alongside other children, interacting socially, form friendships, communicate, and learn together. Each child is encouraged to reach their own goals in every aspect of learning and development, and is helped to create habits of listening, sharing, concentration, respect for others and their opinions, and to have a sense of pride in their achievements.; ; We see you, as the parent or carer as a partner in helping your child to learn and develop, ensuring that all children, no matter what their starting point or background, have the same opportunities and experiences while in our setting.;
