A Local Government Association (LGA) Assurance Peer Challenge took place in early March 2024. The peer challenge formed part of our wider adult social care assurance activity. It directly supported the Local Authority’s preparedness for future assessment by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
LGA Peer Challenges have long been a key improvement and learning tool that local government uses as part of its commitment to sector-led improvement.
The final feedback report was received on 10 May 2024 and can be read below.
