In 2019, the Government launched the Towns Fund, a £3.6billion investment package aiming to regenerate and level up 101 towns across England.

The aim is to develop and deliver investment plans that will grow ensure towns are thriving places to live and work, where skills and business development are supported and there is improved connectivity including digital.

In Somerset, Bridgwater and Glastonbury are part of this initiative.

Both towns have secured significant Towns Fund grant and are delivering projects that need to be completed by March 2026. You can find out more on the websites below.
