Culturally Chard

Chard’s High Street Heritage Action Zone will include a cultural programme. Led by a consortium made up of local cultural and community organisations, this group will work collectively and with others to deliver an exciting range of events and activities. The programme, called Culturally Chard, will invite you to celebrate Chard’s unique town centre heritage, alongside the existing cultural activity in the town. The consortium has applied to Historic England for funding to deliver the programme from 2021 to 2024.

The HSHAZ cultural consortium is led jointly by Chard Town Council and Somerset Art Works. The other consortium members are:
