Notices to mariners

Somerset Council has a duty to inform mariners of conditions that may impact on their safe navigation into or out of our ports. Notices to Mariners provide essential, up-to-date information and advice to those navigating within our area of jurisdiction.

Subjects will include (but not be limited to) notification of works and events which may impact on navigation and notification of new and updated rules and regulations for navigation.

All persons using the port for both commercial and leisure purposes should make themselves aware of these notices before entering the Port Area.
