Using Computers for Children and Young People

Children who wish to use the computers are welcome. If you are aged between 10-15 years and require access to the internet in the library you will need to ask a parent/carer to complete an internet access consent form.
Consent forms are available at any library or may be printed from this page. Do not sign the form, but take it to your nearest Somerset Library to give approval to the library service to allow a child to have access to the Internet. - Click here
The library service uses a filtering system on the public access computers. We monitor misuse and will take action where misuse is identified. Please see our flyer, Computers and the internet: policy on acceptable use for parents and children, for our Top Tips for keeping your child safe on the internet.
