Libraries across Somerset have joined forces with learndirect, the largest provider of online learning, to offer a wide range of ‘Skills for life' courses to library users.
These courses are computer-based and at the library there is an expert learndirect advisor on hand to help you. You can choose whether to learn in the library, at home, at work or a combination of all three. All you need is access to the Internet.
We offer courses in maths and English leading to the national test. Also computers from beginners to ECDL and web design.
You can access your course 24hrs a day seven days a week.
