Information services are available to everyone. You do not have to be a library member. So if you are seeking special technical material, help with a project, or just want to know the time of the next bus home, your library service can help you.
Information is available from all libraries, where trained staff will help you find the information you require. More complex enquiries will be referred to the Enquiry Centre.
A wide range of resources are available through Somerset libraries. These include reference books, journals and newspapers, microfilm of back copies of local and national newspapers and local history records. You can also access local newspapers, databases, leaflets and information from the Internet. Free Internet access is available in all Somerset libraries.
There are special collections held at the Somerset Studies Library in Taunton Library and the Performing Arts Library in Yeovil Library.
