Introduction

SSE is a traded unit within Somerset Council, that offers a wide variety of services and training to education providers, and other types of organisations in and out of Somerset, including schools, academies, Early Years providers, childcare settings and local authorities.

Support Services for Education provides a one-stop-shop of services, training, news, and resources for schools, early years, colleges, local authorities and other organisations. This includes educational improvement packages, bespoke professional support and development, business and management services, and more.

They have extensive experience in providing high-quality services to educational settings and their expertise provides the support needed to focus on delivering educational excellence to all children and young people.

SSE has no financial shareholders and operates a not-for-profit business model. Any surplus generated is reinvested to improve outcomes for children and young people. This ensures that they deliver great value services that are continually improving.
